READING EVOLVED

        Has the Internet and the evolution of technology regressed our ability to read? The idea of the internet hindering our knowledge and the decline of reading has been an issue debated for years now.  You would think that the amount of information we have at our disposal would expand our thinking and knowledge, but as you read about these articles and TED Talks you can see that is not always the case.

        The idea that technology is the reason for the demise of reading, and how people do not have the attention span to immerse themselves into a text. "Staying Awake: Notes on the alleged decline of reading" acts as our central idea.
